On December 1, 2017, Bread of Life Ministries opened its doors as an Extreme Weather Shelter.
Winter: On nights when the temperature is below 35 degrees, Bread of Life will act as a shelter for those who do not have other places to stay. Cots will be provided for up to 20 people. Dinner will be served from 7:00PM to 8:00PM.
Hours of Operation: 6:00PM to 8:00AM
Age Limit: No one under the age of 18
Meals are needed every night that we are open in the winter. Please contact Payal at 916-768-0394 to volunteer or with questions.
Summer: On days when the temperature is above 90 degrees, Bread of Life will act as a cooling shelter.
Hours of Operation: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (no meals served)
